Welcome to Royal Priesthood Christian Counseling and Academy! As the name suggested, this is a counseling ministry that targets directly Christians and their needs; however, RPCC embraces the opportunity to assist diverse individuals seeking a spiritual word to the daily challenges of life. I am Elder Marie Priestly, founder of RPCC and co-founder of Rose of Sharon Ministries.
Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, I have entered the ministry of counseling, receiving my credentials and Master’s Degree as an Advanced Licensed Pastoral and Board Certified Temperament Counselor, specializing in Crisis Intervention Therapy. I am further encouraged to complete my doctoral studies and earn a PHD in this critical field by my husband, Bishop Royce B. Priestly, Pastor of Rose of Sharon Ministries (www.roseofsharonministries.org) and Dr. Wilma Cook, President of Guadalupe Baptist Theological Seminary.
Daily, Christians seek professional counseling from representatives of their faith. I am fully certified to meet that need in a number of specialized areas, offering biblically sound counsel along with spiritual insight, understanding and encouragement. Thus, I offer professional Christian counseling conducted in a physically and spiritually safe environment and facilitated by licensed, skilled and knowledgeable counselors.
I believe counseling which is not founded upon the Biblical principles of God’s inspired word is in vain. To this extent: the difference between Christian and secular counseling rests in the fundamental fact that only God can restore broken lives; reconcile broken relationships, and God alone brings health and wholeness to lost souls with the promise of present and eternal glories.
